WHO ARE WE?
We are Maria (class teacher) and Mariona (English teacher), we work in a Primary school in the neighbourhood of Can n'Oriach in Sabadell.
GEP 1: First Science project, 5th graders
(School Year 2018-2019)
We have chosen a group in the 5th grade of Primary Education to implement our GEP project about mixtres.
We have rouded up the activities in the project by transforming them into a complete Didactic Unit so it would be meaningful for our pupils. Over 4 sessions, the students have been learning about mixtures, their different types and some procedures to separate them.
GEP 2: Second Science project, 6th graders
(School Year 2019-2020)
We decided to apply the second CLIL project with the same group of children but a year later since they were already used to the methodology and dynamics of cooperative work.
This time we planned a whole project about energy and sustainability. We called it Fridays for Future in relation to the environmental movement which has recently appeared and gained importance around the globe.
In it, the students learn about sources and types of energy, green and renewable sources and how to use them appropriately in our daily lives but also in our community.
