THIS IS SCIENCE!

THE PROJECT

We have called this project "This is Science!".
It is related to chemistry and we have been working on it by using the Scientific Method in which our students have been trained.
In introductory actvivities we focused on acquiring the vocabulary and learning the different steps that make up the Scientific Method.
In subsequent activities we carried out some hands-on activities to learn about the qualities of matter such as mass, volume or density. Later on we moved to the different kinds of mixtures and the procedures used to separate heterogeneous mixtures.
